Screaming, Yelling, and Torture

When it comes to mind, what do you think a little pageant girl goes through? On TV it looks so fun and amazing, but what do the girls have to say not on camera? You will get punished most of the time if you do one step in your routine wrong. Does it really matter? Why can't they judge you on the fun you're having, not by the way your forced smile looks, and how your robot steps are. Parents go through a lot to, they spend so much money on a pageant and your child will always make a mistake. So what's the point? We say be natural, and enjoy your childhood.

No Mercy

Parents, that's what comes to mind when little kids are forced into things. Even if you don't want to do it, you are still forced to be the perfect child they have always wanted. The parents never ever say congrats to them when they try their hardest, they always have to win the top title overall. They are competing against each other to be the most beautiful and overall fabulous. Why can't they be themselves and be proud for what they did! Our next blog will be about parents and their ways to force their children into pageants.

Straight sugar!

At the pageants if there child is not paying attention or half asleep there parents turn to energy drinks and sugar sticks. In one episode I watched the mother got her to do stuff by giving her about 15 sugar sticks. Why do they need to bribe there kids to do this??? Maybe because they didn't want to do it in the first place. Energy drinks are not very good for you especially at a young age, and sugar sticks are not good either. They are forcing there kids to do pageants normally just because there mom or other relatives did it, they feel that they need to carry on the tradition. Most of the time the kid doesn't even want to do it. But I think forcing/bribing them is going to far.

$$$ money ,money and more money $$$

From dresses to shoes, to the cost of the tan, it all adds up in the end. But what about dresses? Ever wonder how much they cost? It all depends on what type of pageant you are doing! Most darling little girls do full glitz all the way. So they have to pay over $100.00 for just one dress that some only wear one time at a pageant. Some mothers are so crazy they have closets filled with dress after dress. That will really add up. In the end most quit and never talk about their beauty queen past, so to us, it's all just a waste of money!

Flippers, hair extenshions and fake tans.

Flippers,  they are pretty much fake teeth. The girls wear them because there teeth are not perfect at these young ages. Then again whose are? For a pair of flipper the price is around $300.00-$350.00.Hair extensions, from fake poofs and fake curls these girls have it all. Even if a girl has the best hair, she will still wear an extension. Extensions aren't even real hair, it is a wig on top of a little girls head. Fake tans, they are really bad for your skin and cost Lot's of money. Why are 2-13 year old girls getting tans? They are a lot of money and don't even last that long. Talk about a waste of money!
